Choosing a studio

What matters to you?

Start with the class you want and how far you’re willing to travel. A studio you can get to easily is one you’re more likely to keep visiting.

Kenkō is our overall pick for its calm room and mix of yoga and pilates. Auckland Yoga Academy is a good place for traditional Ashtanga, Eastwest for hot yoga, and The Loft for yoga with a shared meal afterwards. Each review explains what we liked and what might not suit you.

The guide draws on experiences from several local practitioners. No studio pays to be included, and there are no affiliate links. Read how we choose, or use the area and class links below to narrow your search.

Prices and timetables change. Check the studio’s website before booking.
